x-kom AGO starts cooperation with Garmin

American manufacturer of GPS receivers and wearables has become an official sponsor of the AGO x-kom esports organization. Garmin will provide measurement technology for the Hawks’ charges. Competitors will be equipped with the latest Garmin watches from the fēnix® 6 series, the highest quality multiport GPS watches.

“It’s amazing that the world leader in measurement technology has decided to work with our organization. Garmin’s products are top-of-the-line. They’re used by the world’s top athletes in extreme sports. We’re delighted that the watches we’re going to receive have features that allow us to truly analyze your life’s parameters, which will be taken into account when planning your optimal training cycle. Additionally, the brand itself is so deeply rooted in the sport that it is a dream partner for AGO x-kom. – says Jakub Szumielewicz, president of AGO’s x-kom organization.
The cooperation between the AGO x-kom organization and the Garmin brand will traditionally involve a number of activations on the social profiles of the Hawks and their charges, but also providing them with appropriate watches that will follow their activity during trainings in the Warsaw Nest, trips to LAN tournaments and also during relaxation.
AGO x-kom athletes will be the first sportsmen in the world to join the elite group of athletes using Garmin technology. This is a breakthrough cooperation on an international scale.

“The Garmin fēnix® 6 multisport smartwatches, which will be used by AGO x-kom athletes, will provide athletes with a full cross-section of health and performance data. Indicators such as Body Battery help to assess their daily rhythm and optimize the day to achieve maximum performance at the desired moment. Esport is a discipline that is professionalised with each season and we are confident that in combination with the right training, our technology solutions will help athletes to take their performance to the next level. – says Jakub Szałamacha, marketing manager at Garmin Polska.

Fans of the esport from all over the world will see Garmin watches on Jastrzębi’s wrists at the end of February during the IEM in Katowice, where the StarCraft 2 tournament will be represented by Mikołaj “Elazer” Ogonowski. The only Pole to take part in the competition.
